This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump casing is cast iron, and the assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The unit includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 324 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a standard Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a 40°C ambient rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
