This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design to facilitate field maintenance. The top center line discharge configuration supports simplified piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor, frame style 213JM with feet, operating at 1750 RPM. Power input requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. This motor meets NEMA standards and complies with efficiency requirements MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI value of 0.86.
