This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and is configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a 254 T frame. Power supply requirements are 230-460/60/3, with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
