This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The pump features a dry shaft design to prevent contact with system fluids, flush seal line taps for filtration, and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. This motor features a TEFC enclosure and is mounted on a JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and utilizes an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards for efficiency. This pump is rated with a PEI of 0.92 and utilizes a top center line discharge design to reduce piping strain and facilitate installation.
