This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The nominal impeller diameter is 7-1/4". The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with a 145 JM frame featuring feet and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency levels per MG1-12.55, with an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. The unit is configured for CCW rotation and carries a PEI of 0.78.
