This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. Flush seal line taps are provided to accommodate the installation of a filter. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 213 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
