This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor. The motor is a Baldor Super E model in a NEMA 213 frame and is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and a standard coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. The unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and an HI energy rating of 12, and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
