This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the fluid from the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, maintaining a temperature rating of 250 °F.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3 power. The pump uses a NEMA 286TS frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is configured for across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a DOE PEI of 0.9. The pump is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions.
