This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber with a temperature rating of 225°F. A bronze wear ring is included within the casing construction.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 215T NEMA motor frame, configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI of 0.88. The starting method is across the line.
