This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing that incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump is driven by a 75 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 365 T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a Woods coupler for connection to the pump assembly. The motor utilizes across-the-line starting and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
