This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design and flush seal line taps to facilitate the installation of a filter for particle protection. Pressure tappings are standard on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 286 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump has a PEI value of 0.94. The top center line discharge design is intended to simplify piping layouts, reduce piping strain, and allow for self-venting.
