This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate hydraulic performance. The assembly integrates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft. Protection is further provided by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal. This configuration supports a maximum pressure rating of 125 PSI and utilizes center-line discharge to assist with positive air venting. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections to allow for system monitoring.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding on a 200-230V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a mechanical disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
