This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61 impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a rear pullout configuration, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a 254 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
