This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This assembly connects to the system via ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP motor housed in a NEMA 256 frame with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards with integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.9 and an HI energy rating of 10. The configuration utilizes a power frame size J for operation above 1750 RPM.
