This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The casing is cast iron, while the shaft and shaft sleeve are stainless steel. The mechanical seal utilizes a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300°F clean water. The pump uses a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor features a NEMA 213 T-frame and operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power with across-the-line starting. It is premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and OSHA using a Woods coupler. This equipment meets a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and functions in 40°C ambient temperatures.
