This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is configured for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 256 T frame style. It requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and CCW rotation. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. The DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.93.
