This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and includes a bronze wear ring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 184T T-frame style with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a standard Woods coupler. The system features greasable bearings in the bearing frame. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The DOE PEI value is 0.86.
