This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design consisting of a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing features integrated pressure tappings for suction and discharge monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor with a NEMA 182 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power using across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a protective guard. This equipment meets EISA standards with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and an HI energy rating of 15. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation and features standard CCW rotation.
