This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The cast iron casing houses the impeller, and the unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This assembly includes greasable bearings and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T frame size 256, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor. This unit features a premium efficiency motor meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
