This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction, and a 1-1/4" discharge. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. Its dry shaft design prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP WEG TEFC motor with a NEMA 145 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor connects to the pump assembly via a Woods coupler, which is protected by a standard coupler guard. The entire unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.81 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
