This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes integrated pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections along with flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor utilizes a NEMA 145 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards, including integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump shaft.
