This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly operates with fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, while flush seal line taps accommodate the installation of filters to protect the seal. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 145 JM motor frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. The electrical input is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standard specifications and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
