This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a rear pullout design for service access. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly includes a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and integrated suction and discharge pressure tappings. The top center line discharge configuration provides self-venting and simplified piping layouts.
This unit is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor is built on a 215 JM frame with feet and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures with CCW rotation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI of 0.87.
