This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes a bronze wear ring and operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid, and it features flush seal line taps on the casing for filter installation.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 3450 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 184 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly maintains a PEI of 0.89. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design to allow for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
