This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a protective guard. This unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
