This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting method. The motor is mounted in a 184 T frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This unit operates in a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
