This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Additional features include a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a JM motor frame style with feet and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts and reduce strain. It features a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.83.
