This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features ANSI Class 125 flanges, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 182 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A standard flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor, which is supported by a bearing frame with greasable bearings. This motor features premium efficiency, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding, and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86.
