This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation in fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies layout and promotes self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It is built on a 326 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for 40°C ambient conditions. This pump configuration maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
