This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC motor manufactured by WEG. It is configured with a 145 JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and conforms to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with a counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86.
