This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It houses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. This configuration does not include a drip cover or a wear ring.
