This close-coupled end suction pump integrates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design eliminates contact between the fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to manage sealing. This assembly accommodates pressures up to 125 PSI. Pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for monitoring, while flush seal line taps accommodate the installation of a filter to provide protection against non-condensable particles.
Powered by a 3 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the system includes Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
