This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, a slip-on shaft sleeve, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is configured with a 25 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and complies with NEMA standards. It uses a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The pump supports a 40°C ambient temperature rating and handles fluids up to 250°F. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards, and the pump carries a PEI rating of 0.87.
