This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing design incorporates a rear pullout configuration, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 1-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is mounted in a 145 JM frame style with feet and requires 230-460/60/3 power. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It is configured for across-the-line starting, utilizes a top center line discharge, and has a PEI of 0.86.
