This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The construction consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and seal flush line taps for the installation of a filter.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply and uses a NEMA 324 T-frame motor. The assembly features an across the line starting option, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.94.
