This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal is installed with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, providing a temperature rating of 225°F. The design incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding to manage electrical discharge.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and utilizes a NEMA 213T frame with across-the-line starting. This assembly includes greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump connection is a standard Woods flexible coupler. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
