This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal assembly is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 444 T frame. It is configured for 460/60/3 power and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes an AEGIS SGR, an insulated bearing at the NDE, and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature operation.
