This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the casing. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The power requirement is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump system is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.95.
