This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid and utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 326T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is configured for across the line starting and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
