This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is an ODP enclosure, NEMA standard, and configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. It utilizes a 213JM motor frame with mounting feet and across-the-line starting. This unit meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. The motor is rated for an ambient temperature of 40°C.
