This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The unit includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integrated drain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP TEFC WEG motor. It is built on a NEMA 286T frame and is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
