This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction includes greasable bearings and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP TEFC WEG motor. It is configured for a 380V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is built on a NEMA 324 T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This unit features an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a DOE PEI of 0.92.
