This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design, utilizing a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-Frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
