This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The unit integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. This configuration prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and sustains operation up to 125 PSI. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. Integral mounting feet are cast directly into the casing for system support.
The 30 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, utilizes Aegis Grounding, and draws 380-460V / 3PH power, yielding a DOE PEI of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
