This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid, while the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit also features flush seal line taps for the installation of an external filter.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor that features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and operates at 3450 RPM. This unit uses a JM motor frame style with feet, rated for 40°C ambient conditions and NEMA standards. Power requirements are 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The unit is configured for CCW rotation and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
