This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9 1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a 300°F temperature rating for clean water applications. This model is configured without a wear ring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 254 T-frame. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard, all installed on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan. The pump is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power input with across-the-line starting. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. This equipment meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
