This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM. It utilizes a 184 JM motor frame style with feet and rotates in a CCW direction. The unit is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. It meets NEMA standards, including MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
