This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is NEMA standard, rated for 40°C ambient temperatures, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This configuration features counter-clockwise rotation and operates without a drip cover. The pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
