This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor uses a NEMA 286 T-frame and is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz input. It meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.93. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump, with the drive configured for across the line starting.
