This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration includes 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor features an ODP enclosure, premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.95.
